چکیده

The aim of this work is to posit a model evaluate the efficiency system urban public libraries and examine impact certain contextual variables on level performance. We take System Public Libraries in city Medellin (Colombia) as case study consider production function which displays three main characteristics. First, it complete spans different activities undertaken by these institutions, not only one that identifies with its repository knowledge. Second, there stages, allows us distinguish between various controlled management from those coproduced users, together link two. third takes into account temporal interdependence relations identifying quasi-fixed inputs remain for provision service over time. This then analyse how evolves during period question. Efficiency evaluation carried out employing dynamic-network-DEA we also apply truncated bootstrap regression estimate effect library efficiency. results evidence growing trend indices, values are slightly more favourable second stage than focusing managing cultural programme. Factors such education, population density, youthfulness, safety seen positively affect performance, particularly vis-à-vis public.

If the performance of inefficient DMUs deteriorates or...
